The ConversationOur first Doctor’s Choice DVD of the month is The Conversation

Coppola’s psychological thriller revolves around surveillance man Harry Caul (Gene Hackman) who begins to suspect that the information he is collating on a couple he is spying on will be used to kill them. His crisis of conscience and increasing paranoia drive the film towards its highly-charged denouement.

Doctor’s Diagnosis: A stunning example of the craft of filmmaking and a creepy allegory for contemporary ‘National Security’.
